The documents currently covered by our Inspector I and Inspector II exams in Florida are listed below. Examinees are expected to provide their own copies of the NFPA documents, bound in a binder or book format with minimal writing, on exam day. Highlighted passages and permanent tabs are allowed.
Only these documents are permitted:
* No other outside materials or loose papers will be allowed in the exam.
All Academy Exams exam questions reflect the current Florida standards (which went into effect in January of 2015).
* Copies of the Florida laws will be provided onsite with the exam. State laws covered by the exams may change as required by test location.
Registration for an Academy Exam must be completed three weeks prior to the exam date. After this, any registration will be considered late. The late registration period runs for one week only.
Late registrations carry a $150 late fee and will be accepted no later than ten business days before the exam date.
NO REGISTRATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER THE LATE REGISTRATION DEADLINE.
There is a $25 fee for any reprints of your letter, certificate, or wallet card.

During the late registration period, a fee of $150.00 will be added to the above totals.
Registrants who have taken an Academy Exam within the previous 6 months will receive a $50 discount.
If you cancel an exam registration 10 or more business days prior to the exam date, you will receive a full refund.
If you cancel an exam registration less than 10 business days prior to the exam date, we will deduct a processing fee of $50 from your refund.
